Time of Day
Our time of day rate allows members to shift their energy consumption to different hours of the day to receive a specific cost per kilowatt-hour (kWh) during three peak periods. Hours of the day are broke up into peak periods; On-Peak, Mid-Peak, and Off-Peak. The time frames are adjusted by season, based on ACEC’s cost of power. During each of these time frames, the price per kWh is different. All On-Peak periods are in effect Monday – Friday, except holidays. Weekends and holidays are charged at Mid-Peak. Holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
